every word inside of you

every word inside of you

the other day I watched the rain fall
you were only the biggest star in the sky
I thought of your words and all
it was like reading the catcher in the rye
then appeared a bulb of light
like a chandelier in a ballroom
your words again were bright
they shone above me and then boom
all the universe seemed united at last
like an immense statue of brass
the sculpture of our love
of the feelings that we feel above
of our faith and our trust
a sculpture made with hands of angels
that will never have rust
that will sweep away all the dangers
the shadows and the nightmares of our lust;
and if in love the nightmares shall disappear
you will be the lighthouse in this ocean of fear
forever young, forever splendid
my love for you shall never have an ending
on your shoulders my thoughts will have depended
and your charm and elegance will be surrounding
the garden I have grew where our hopes transcended.
